Amazon is providing its service to the prime members as of now. They can get access to more than 235 videos after signing up for subscription services from any of their media streaming device like Fire TV. After getting this service on TV, the user no longer requires to sign-up for an app individually.

This is why the Amazon has topped in the list of Ala carte subscriptions. Roku modus operandi is totally different from its rivals. It always tries to increase the customer base by bringing new products into its fleet. They have first introduced Roku media streaming player then entered into a partnership with TV manufacturers to start selling Roku TV to the customers. Nowadays, with changing scenario, the prime source of revenue for the company is ads and promotions.

Some of the paid streaming services have joined hands with Roku to share revenue between them. The significant spot from where Roku is generating its maximum revenue is from Advertising. Earlier, Roku considers Roku channel as a prime source of income for the company. So they started inserting ad-based channels in it. In these channels, user can watch the shows along with ads in the interval. Moreover, Roku in this April has also partnered with top news channels like Cheddar, ABC and news prime to start providing latest news to the customers through Roku streaming service. Now, the main thing that is still unclear is whether Roku will start the subscription service in the Roku store itself or will keep the channel aside.
