From May onwards, Hulu will start showing dynamic ads on Live streaming. In this service, live sports channel is also included.
According to a spokesperson from Hulu, the advertisement companies are trying to reach the target customers through this service. The advertisement companies in starting are going to broadcast their ads on News, shows and sports TV for which each user is paying $39 to Hulu.
If you have subscribed to any cable network, then you will start getting the ads soon from the ad companies. These ads are in addition to already going typical ads which you watch during breaks. Till May end, these ads will enter into the complete Hulu channel.
According to Hulu Activate officials talking at Advertising Bureau pitch fest, the company has launched this campaign through Henrik Lindquist, a Goaltender in New York. Hulu has revealed its partnership with big advertising names in the presentation ceremony held at Madison square garden of New York. Hulu is also sponsoring the Stanley Cup playoff to attract more and more customers towards their service.
Hulu customer’s base if we compare with last three months data has crossed 20 million for live as well as on-demand TV service. Keeping this customer appreciation in mind, Hulu has now started offline viewing service with which a customer can watch content offline after downloading it on personal computer or phone.
According to Hulu theory behind launching the dynamic ads on service, this service will definitely add customers to the advertisers and indirectly we will get more and more number of customers on our platform for the live streaming facility. Hulu also believes that ads are must for sports. It adds enthusiasm and curiosity to viewers mind.
The rival companies like Netflix, Amazon, and HBO are already offering ad-free content to users and that too at low prices. Now, they have come to the conclusion that viewers are more into Live TV service than watching shows and movies.
